AX0-8 External Mounted Flange Facer

The AX0-8 Flange Facer and Grooving Machine is the smallest and lightest of the SILK Portable Machine range. The compact design and lightweight construction 18kg (40lbs) makes it the ideal choice in confided spaces while allowing for single operator use. Externally mounted, with a working range of 0 to 203mm (0" - 8”) and including either 3 or 4 clamping feet to suit applications.

The AX0-8 Flange Facer and Grooving Machine is the smallest and lightest of the SILK Portable Machine range. The compact design and lightweight construction 18kg (40lbs) makes it the ideal choice in confided spaces while allowing for single operator use.

Externally mounted, with a working range of 0 to 203mm (0" - 8”) and including either 3 or 4 clamping feet to suit applications. A single in-line 0.63kW (0.84hp) pneumatic motor drives the toolpost, with pre-determined settings on the toolpost to suit standard machine angles (0°, 15° & 23°).

The machine offers the capability for a single automatic or manual feed rate.

Optional extras include a mounting plate to allow simple machine removal when machining a ring type joint face (RTJ)
